Discovery Buddies: Fall

Service Description

In our Buddies program, tiny humans, with the help of their parents and caregivers, will learn through play over a 45-minute class. We’ll explore cause and effect, explore mini-worlds through sensory play, engage in science experiments, and adventure outside, when possible. Buddies is a 45-minute creative playgroup for kiddos and caregivers promoting social-emotional learning. Kiddos ages 21m-3yrs play together, with the same group of friends, while parents mingle and make connections of their own. New activities each week! During this session of Discovery Buddies, we’ll be painting a house (again!), creating nature art, studying the world of bugs and insects, exploring color on the light table, rescuing animals, and more. Fall Dates September 9 September 16 September 23 (SKIP September 30 ) October 7 October 14 October 21 This program is in six sessions to help kiddos (and parents) connect. It’s easier for children to open up and make new friends when they see each other weekly. Plus, they'll love going to "their class"! Each class also includes Open Play after class. If you can't make a class or need to miss one for a vacation, you can roll that class into the next season's Buddies program. Please note that only one class may be rolled over. The age groups in this class have a wide range of developmental abilities. Activities are able to be modified to meet participants where they're at.
